Seller Agreement

This agreement is between Kwame Motors and anyone who opens a shop on Kwame Motors. It adds to the Terms & Conditions, which also apply. By opening a shop, you agree to both.

• Describe every part accurately: what it is, which vehicles it fits, whether it is new or used, and its condition.
• Keep stock and prices up to date. Prices are in Ghana cedis.
• Only list parts you have and are allowed to sell. Stolen, counterfeit and dangerous parts are not allowed.
• Kwame Motors may hide a listing that breaks these rules.

We check every seller’s identity with their Ghana Card (see the Privacy Policy for how we handle it). You can also send your business registration to be shown as a verified business.

Until you are verified, you can have up to 10 listings, your shop shows as unverified, and your payouts are held. If you aren’t verified within 30 days of opening your shop, your listings are hidden until you are.

• Accept or cancel a new order within 48 hours, or it is cancelled and the buyer refunded.
• If a part is out of stock, mark it as waiting on stock. The buyer or you can cancel it; after 72 hours it is cancelled.
• When a buyer asks to cancel an accepted order, you have 24 hours to answer, or it is cancelled.
• Send the parcel yourself or, where offered, hand it to Kwame Motors’ courier. For parcels the courier carries, Kwame Motors marks them collected and delivered.
• When a buyer asks to return a part, you have 48 hours to accept or decline. If you decline or don’t answer, Kwame Motors reviews it and decides.

For online orders, Kwame Motors receives the buyer’s payment on your behalf through Paystack and holds it until the buyer confirms they have the order, or until the return window (7 days after delivery) closes. An open return or a problem the buyer reports holds the payment until it is resolved, and the buyer may be refunded from it.

For each order, you are paid:

• what the buyer paid for your parts, after any discount code of yours,
• plus the delivery price, if you delivered the parcel yourself,
• minus your share of Paystack’s payment processing fee,
• minus Kwame Motors’ commission (currently 15% of your parts; the rate when the order was placed applies).

Discounts that Kwame Motors offers buyers, such as welcome codes, don’t reduce your payment.

Payments released for you are sent once a day to the Mobile Money or bank account you add in your dashboard. It must be in your own name, matching your Ghana Card. After you change it, payments wait 24 hours. Fees you owe from refunds are taken from your next payments.

For cash-on-delivery orders, the buyer pays you directly, and Kwame Motors takes no part of that money.

• If you cancel a paid order, or a part is out of stock, the buyer gets back everything they paid for it, and you bear the payment processing fee on the refunded amount.
• For an accepted return, you bear the payment processing fee and, where Kwame Motors delivered the parcel, the cost of collecting it from the buyer.
• For a return on a cash-on-delivery order, you refund the buyer directly.

• You can pay GH₵100 to feature one of your parts on the homepage for one week, at a deal price at least 5% below its regular price.
• You pay when you book. Kwame Motors reviews every deal; if it is rejected, the fee is refunded in full.
• If you cancel before it is reviewed, the fee is refunded less Paystack’s charge.
• During the week, the part sells at the deal price.

Kwame Motors may hide your listings, suspend your shop or hold your payments while it looks into fraud, counterfeit or stolen parts, repeated cancellations, or another breach of this agreement or the Terms. We will tell you why by email or SMS.

You can close your shop from your account settings. Your listings disappear at once. Your account is deleted once your open orders, returns and payments are finished, including the return window on recent deliveries.

Kwame Motors may change this agreement, its fees or its commission. We will tell you by email, SMS or in your dashboard before a change takes effect. Changes never apply to orders already placed.
